African Sanctus revisited. A film by Herbert Chappell telling the remarkable story of the journey made by composer David Fanshawe, combining authentic footage spanning 20 years. Artists as above. NB This is not a filmed performance of African Sanctus, but combines film taken in Africa by David Fanshawe in 1969, the television programme in which he revisited in 1995 the sites of his original journey, and video from the recording sessions in Lighthouse, Poole in February 1994. Includes a complete performance of Dona Nobis Pacem.
