BSYC Patrons Scheme

Bournemouth Symphony Chorus Children's Choir & Bournemouth Symphony Youth Chorus:

The Bournemouth Symphony Youth and Children's choirs gives youngsters from all communities wonderful singing experiences.
Your support through the lottery means that young people receive the best training, learn to read music, sing as a group and self confidence, no matter their background or circumstances.
This year they have made a professional recording, performed a world premiere and sung at the Classic FM Live  broadcast at the Royal Albert Hall, and sing with the Bournemouth Symphony Chorus at the Lighthouse Poole.

Bournemouth Symphony Youth Chorus Patrons Scheme:

The BSYC Patrons Scheme was established in 2007 to provide a means for BSC members, Alumni Members, BSYC parents who wished specifically to  support our work with young people. Many supporters see the scheme as a way of giving back in gratitude for all the wonderful music making opportunities we have enjoyed performing with or listening to the BSC.

The suggested donation is £5/quarter (£20 a year), gift aided wherever possible, and the aim is to encourage a large number of people to commit to a small but regular contribution; the scheme also welcomes one off donations.

The target is to raise sufficient funds each year to cover the cost of at least 1 term of BSYC activity. This has been achieved every year since the scheme’s inception.

New Patrons are always welcome (there are currently 68) please contact Joan Ingarfield for more information please email: Treasurer@bschorus.co.uk
